Cada vez queda menos tiempo para que esta consola mini esté a la venta, y es que Sega aprovechó de realizar un stream en el cual mostró aditamentos estéticos para la consola, los cuales recrean al Sega 32X, Sega CD e incluso un pequeño cartucho de Sonic & Knuckles con Sonic 1 para emular el tan popular Segazord. Lo curioso de estos agregados, que en conjunto se llaman Mega Drive Tower Mini, es que el equipo de M2 no sabía de su existencia y que el precio será de 3,980 yenes por si están interesados en importarla.
Junto a esta noticia, confirmaron la lista final de juegos, con la sorpresa de que en lugar de revelar 10 juegos, nombraron 12 nuevos juegos para las versiones americana y japonesa de la consola, donde destaca la inclusión del raro Tetris de Sega Genesis para ambos territorios.
